Austock’s team of executives benefits from our many years of collective commercial experience.  In putting together a team for a particular assignment we are able to draw on a variety of backgrounds, including finance, engineering, law, accounting, retail, agriculture and management consulting.  The team is led by our executive directors whose profiles are provided below.

 

 

 

Jamie Green

 

Jamie Green has over 25 years experience in commerce and law both in private practice and investment banking. He studied and worked in both London and Belgium.  Prior to joining Austock he was an Executive Director of KPMG’s corporate advisory division, and an executive director of a boutique corporate advisory firm. Prior to moving into investment banking he was a Senior Partner of a national law firm.  He specialises in providing corporate and strategic advice to both private and public companies especially in relation to takeovers, mergers, acquisitions and divestments, venture capital, capital management, including debt and equity raisings and IPO’s.

 

 

Craig Stranger

 

Craig Stranger is the Head of Equity Capital (ECM) markets at Austock. Craig has 15 years of industry experience and strong personal relationships with both our investor and issuer clients.

He joined ECM after many years as Head of Research at Austock. Stock coverage and relationships was primarily in the Australian small companies and mid market space. Craig formerly worked in the Normandy Mining group in a finance role.  

 

     
     

   

Andrew Champion

 

Andrew has over 15 years experience in corporate finance and investment banking incorporating M&A and Debt and Equity Capital Markets. Andrew’s previous role was Director of Investment Banking and Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage at Citi. Previously he has worked for Deutsche Bank covering European investment banking and private equity transactions as well as for Wilson HTM focusing on growth company and mid market M&A and ECM in Australia.

 

Malcolm Ezzy

 

Malcolm has over 15 years experience advising financial institutions, corporations and governments in Australia, Asia and Europe. Malcolm has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets and the development of corporate strategy. Malcolm has advised on many landmark M&A transactions including CBA’s acquisition of Bankwest, ASX on its merger with SFE, ANZ’s acquisition of RBS Asia, Adelaide Bank on its merger with Bendigo Bank and Westpac’s acquisition of RAMS. Prior to joining Austock, Malcolm was a Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions for Australia and New Zealand at Credit Suisse. Previously he was Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions, Telecoms, Media and Technology at ABN AMRO.
